Sep 2, 2021 12:46:35 PM | Team Vecos |

Gartner's research on cloud spending and growth per country shows where cloud adoption is happening the fastest and which countries are slower to adopt. According tot the research, The Netherlands is a tracking country when it comes to early adoption of cloud services investments.

Countries trailing behind the U.S. by less than three years are categorized as tracking countries and include the U.K. and The Netherlands. Their cloud spending rates are set to rise 2.8 and 3.2 percentage points from 2019 to 2022, respectively. In 2022, the Netherlands cloud spending rate will reach 11.5%.

Data centres in Europe were established early on in Ireland, the U.K. and The Netherlands and drove early adoption of cloud services as local organizations took advantage of greater elasticity, self-service provisioning and a flexible, pay-per-use model.
